Street Fighter (SF) 6 Benchmark Tool Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet

Street Fighter 6 is right around the corner. And with other games like Tekken 7 and Mortal Combat also set to release sometime in the future, things are looking great for fans of fighting games. But it doesn’t matter what new technologies are being used to develop games; errors and bugs are still inevitable. The funny thing about Street Fighter 6 is that the game has not even dropped and players are already having trouble with its “benchmark tool”. More specifically, some players are reporting that this benchmark tool is not working for them. Well, we are here to help and to tell you about any potential fixes.

So what is this benchmark tool? Well, in simple words, it’s a tool that you can use to determine if your PC will be able to handle the game or not. What you need to do is download the tool and run it. It will then give you some scores, which will indicate the capability of your system to run the game in different settings. It sounds convenient and all, but as we mentioned earlier, for some players, this tool is not working. So what’s the fix? Keep reading to learn more.

Note: Keep in mind that these are potential fixes and may or may not work for everyone. Still, they are worth a try.

Launch through .exe file

This workaround has been mentioned on the SF6 benchmark tool’s official website, so before you try the other methods listed here, try this first. All you need to do is launch the .exe file of the tool from its installation folder rather than its shortcut. If you do not know where that is, don’t worry; just head to the given directory: C:Program Files (x86)CAPCOMStreetFighter6 Benchmark. Here, you should be able to see the “StreetFighter6.exe” file. Double-click on it and check if the benchmark tool is working.

Update your Graphics Drivers

We cannot stress enough how important it is to keep your graphics drivers up to date. These driver updates may look minor at times, but under the hood, they fix bugs and make sure that you are getting the most out of your GPU. To update your graphic drivers, you need to head to either AMD’s or Nvidia’s official website, look up the model of your graphics card, and download the latest drivers for it, if available.

Update Windows

And lastly, similar to updating the drivers for your GPU, you need to make sure that your OS is up-to-date. Look up any pending Windows update by searching “updates” in your search bar. If an update is available, download and install it. Launch the benchmark tool after updating your OS and see if any errors persist.

Well, that is all the information we have on fixing the SF 6 Benchmarking Tool not working issue. We hope this was helpful. For more such reads, keep checking Digistatement regularly.
