Joe Schoen hires Chris Rossetti as Giants’ director of pro scouting

The newest member of the Giants’ front office has direct ties to the new general manager, as Joe Schoen has hired Chris Rossetti to fill the director of pro scouting position.

Rossetti arrives from the Dolphins, where he was the assistant director of pro personnel. Rossetti started in Miami in 2015 and worked with Schoen for two years with the Dolphins.

Schoen waited until after the NFL draft to do the major reshaping of his front office. In addition to Rossetti, he hired Dennis Hickey (assistant director of player personnel), Mike Derice (national scout) and Scott Hamel (Southwest area scout).

Hickey was a senior national scout with the Bills the past five years, working with Schoen, who was the assistant general manager in Buffalo. Schoen and Hickey also previously worked together in Miami when Hickey was the Dolphins’ general manager in 2014 and 2015.
