Beyoncé remembered the late Tina Turner during a “Renaissance” world tour stop Friday in the Paris area.
The 41-year-old “Crazy In Love” singer told her fans: “I just want to take a second and honor Tina Turner. If you’re a fan of mine, you’re a fan of Tina Turner.”
She continued: “I wouldn’t be on this stage without Tina Turner, so I want you guys to just scream, so she can feel your love.”
“I feel so blessed that I was allowed to witness her brilliance,” Beyoncé concluded.

Queen Bey celebrated Turner at the 2005 Kennedy Center Honors ceremony, where she performed “Proud Mary” with the icon in attendance.
The legends also performed together at the 2008 Grammys, marking Turner’s first concert performance in seven years.
“This is literally a dream to me because she’s the ultimate [sic]. To actually be on the stage with her is crazy,” Beyoncé said at the time.
The “Cuff It” singer also reacted to her idol’s death in a statement posted to her website.
“I love you endlessly. I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience,” Beyoncé wrote.
“You are the epitome of power and passion. We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.”
Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, remembered Turner in her own Instagram post, revealing: “Yesterday was a really tough day for me.”
Tina Turner died May 24 of natural causes at her home in Switzerland.APBut since Turner’s death, her fans have bashed Beyoncé and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, for a line in the couple’s 2013 smash hit “Drunk In Love.”
“The Best” icon was born Anna Mae Bullock. Turner famously accused her first husband and former music partner, Ike, of abusing her throughout their 16-year marriage.
“Beat the box up, like Mike in ’97, I bite,” Jay-Z, 53, raps in the Grammy-winning song.
“I’m Ike Turner, turn up baby, no, I don’t play. Now eat the cake, Anna Mae said, ‘Eat the cake, Anna Mae,'” he continues.
The lyrics reference a notorious moment in the Turners’ relationship when Tina, who went by her birth name at the time, was in a diner with Ike. Fans asked her for an autograph instead of him.
“I love you endlessly,” Beyoncé wrote in a statement on her website following Turner’s death. APIke was displeased with the lack of interest in him, so he reportedly attacked Tina by forcing cake in her mouth, saying, “Eat the cake, Anna Mae!”
“Knowing that Tina Turner was Beyoncé’s blueprint and one of her biggest influences makes that ‘Eat the Cake Anna Mae’ line in Drunk in Love even more jarring,” one Turner fan tweeted this week.
