Alexis and Mayor were dating for several years and this was not the first he attacked his girlfriend, The Sun reported.
In 2017, Alexis was convicted of domestic assault against Thayer. They were reportedly dating for seven years at the time.

Her friends remembered her fondly and described her as a hardworking and kind person. Thayer reportedly confided to a friend at her workplace that she was scared for her life. She told her friend that if she left him, he’d kill her.
