Report: ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Reshoots Scheduled Ahead of July Release

Deadpool & Wolverine‘ is reportedly going through some reshoots in May ahead of its July release, as confirmed by Insider Daniel RPK on Patreon.

According to reports, the reshoots involve minor scenes, with some cameos added in response to the overwhelming response from fans after the trailer release.

Most recently, a short synopsis for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was revealed in the US Copyright Catalog. It reads, “In Marvel Studios ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, Wade Wilson is confronted by the TVA, which pulls him from a seemingly quiet life and results in Deadpool being unleashed.”

In the film, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and new additions Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. The script is penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.

Recently, the first trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released, setting a record for the most-viewed trailer of all time with 365 million views in 24 hours. Additionally, it has been confirmed that a new official trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will be released next month. The trailer, which will be 1 minute and 38 seconds long, has been listed on the official website of the British Board of Film Classification. The trailer, titled “Trailer C,” has been rated 12A by the board.

According to the film’s plot: In Deadpool 3, Wade Wilson/Deadpool is arrested for time crimes involving Cable’s device in Deadpool 2. The TVA returns Cable to his original time and confiscates his time travel technology. Deadpool gets leniency and helps the TVA on a mission. Wanda’s spirit inhabits another Wanda’s body, leading to a new world where Magneto rules and mutants are the majority. Logan hijacks the TVA device to change history and ends up in different Fox worlds. Deadpool enlists Fox’s (X-men) heroes in a fight against Magneto, resulting in chaos and casualties. Wanda is depowered and banished by the TVA, and Deadpool and others are sent to the main MCU timeline. Logan searches for mutants while Deadpool finds Blind Al in his bed.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will hit theaters on July 26, 2024, in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens worldwide.
