Prince William and Princess Anne are set to take over the reins from Queen Camilla as she’s set to jet off on a quick vacation following a busy few weeks.
King Charles’ wife is said to be “exhausted” from having to take on an extra workload following her husband’s cancer diagnosis, and will be heading on a sunny getaway this week, The Sun reports.
Camilla, 76, has taken on 13 official engagements solo since news of the King’s ailing health came to light.

Camilla last week led the royal family at a memorial service for King Constantine of Greece at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, after the Prince of Wales, 41, mysteriously pulled out at the eleventh hour.

“Although she was not expecting to find herself in the position of leading the family, the Queen is absolutely prepared to do whatever needs to be done for the institution,” a source close to Camilla told the Sunday Times.

She has found reserves of energy that even she didn’t think she had, and the estimation of her by those inside the palace has soared as she has put her shoulder to the wheel.”
Another insider added, “Her Majesty is robust, positive, and determined to keep going while the King is off public duties. The King is proud and pleased to see the show is being kept on the road by the Queen and the wider family.”
William will now take on an extra workload as well as Anne, the Princess Royal, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Though he’s mostly been looking after his wife, William was seen hanging out with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Rob McElhenney last week.
