Nika King wants production on HBO’s ‘Euphoria‘ Season 3 to begin soon.
Recently, in a TikTok video, Nika said her hope for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 production to begin soon to cover her six-month rent.
Nika said, “I don’t know, don’t ask me, I don’t know, I know it’s one of those things people are like when we need season three. I’m like, I need season three. I haven’t paid my rent in six months, and Zend is over in Paris at Fashion Week. I’m like, Come home, I need you, Mama. I need you, um, laughing, and I’m serious. I haven’t booked anything since Euphoria.”

Season 3 will take even longer due to Sam Levinson’s other project, Zendaya’s schedule, and a writers’ strike. The show’s second season premiered in January 2022.
Back in April 2023, one of the show’s costume designers, Heidi Bivens, told Season 3 would begin filming in June 2023 and may have a 5-year time jump. “There is talk of it being approximately five years in the future, and that they’re not in high school anymore.” which means we can see Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney in adulthood. According to reports, Zendaya’s deal For Euphoria has been recently renegotiated.
Elle reported that Euphoria creator Sam Levinson admires Zendaya’s growth and competitiveness. He’s excited about the third season’s “film noir” theme and exploring principles through Rue’s character.
Levinson said, “She’s the most competitive person I know, in a good way.” Levinson added, “She’s constantly growing as an artist and always seeking a challenge. She’s never complacent.” (He adds that he sees Euphoria’s upcoming third season as a “film noir” and says, through Rue, he plans to “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.)”
The series follows a group of high school students as they navigate through the trials and tribulations of adolescence, including drug use, sex, and identity issues.
Euphoria season 1 and 2 is now available on Max.
