“Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” Officially in Development

Following the success of “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2,” “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” is in development with a larger budget, as confirmed by Variety.

According to producers Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Scott Chambers of Jagged Edge Productions, the third installment of the IP-bludgeoning slasher “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” will feature a larger budget than its predecessors. Also, it will introduce new characters from the original Winnie-the-Pooh stories, such as Rabbit, the Heffalumps, and the Woozles, all expected to receive sadistic, murderous twists.

Recently announced, the Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU) will feature iconic characters such as Winnie-the-Pooh, Bambi, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, and The Mad Hatter. These characters will unite in a team-up film titled ‘Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble,’ set to release in 2025.

“Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” was released in theaters on February 15, 2023. Despite poor reviews, the film grossed $5.2 million worldwide on a budget of just $100,000. Its sequel, “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2,” premiered on March 26, 2024, receiving positive feedback from critics. However, it currently holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 53%.

Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield from a screenplay by Matt Leslie. The film stars Scott Chambers as Christopher Robin, Mason Gold as Young Christopher Robin, Tallulah Evans as Lexy, Ryan Oliva as Winnie-the-Pooh/Billy Robin, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney as Young Winnie-the-Pooh, Teresa Banham as Samantha, Alec Newman as Alan Robin, Simon Callow as Cavendish, Eddy MacKenzie as Piglet, Lewis Santer as Tigger, Marcus Massey as Owl, Nicola Wright as Daphne Robin, and Thea Evans as Bunny Robin.

The release date for “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” has not been announced yet.
