FNF meets TMNT. Let that sink in. Never in their wildest dreams did anyone imagine such a merger,and well, it happened. There are few other fanbases out there for video games that are as active and involved as the FNF community. The fan base focuses on Releasing mod content after taking inputs from various gamers, modifying the content to make it more enjoyable and doing all this over and over again.
As an introduction to the newcomers, Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game programmed by Ninjamuffin99 with soundtrack by Kawai Sprite and artwork by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. It can be downloaded from Itch.io website for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices or played on Newgrounds for free. The TMNT mod was developed by unkn0wn err0r, a FNF modder who is also behind the NSR mods for FNF. Interestingly enough , the mod also has a synopsis. The teenage mutant ninja turtles were fighting against the krang when they accidentally ended up getting warped into the FNF universe. The only way out is by a rap battle against shredder and many other characters from TMNT. The salient features of this mod include :-
1)Characters and skins from TMNT.
2)Droids, pixie sprites and a portal from which characters keep appearing.
3)Catchy animations and music with TMNT specifc remixes and songs.
The reception for this mod, is off the charts. Fans have gotten so used to daddy dearest and corrupt pico that the TMNT mod provided a refreshingly new perspective on the game. The gameplay and music have received overwhelmingly positive reviews and more developments and additions are on their way. The mod developer has announced a new Christmas edition for the mod, along with new character additions such as Karai and Senpai. Yes, Karai will be the mom.
