As an introduction to the newcomers, Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game programmed by Ninjamuffin99 with soundtrack by Kawai Sprite and artwork by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. It can be downloaded from Itch.io website for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices or played on Newgrounds for free. The Papyrus mod 2.1 is credited to Joe the horse, the FNF modder who is also behind the development of many other skins for daddy dearest. The initial version of the papyrus mod was limited to only providing skins for daddy dearest and other characters, but the latest version of the mod, version 2.1, includes the following :-
1) New music and custom remixing has been added to the mod.
2) A plethora of new papyrus-inspired skins for all the characters.
3) New Maps and immersive animations.
The reception for this version of the mod, is immensely supportive. Fans of the game seem to prefer papyrus over daddy dearest, and the current version of the mod over the previous version,because the inclusion of new music and maps in version 2.1 keeps the players on their toes and provides them with an enjoyable gaming experience. It is also to be noted that the latest version of the mod works perfectly well for both windows and mac. More additions are scheduled to be released in due course and their arrival is highly anticipated due to the immense success the mod has seen.
