Street Fighter 6 Pressure Time Explained & How to Use it?

Pressure Time is a newly introduced gameplay mechanic in Street Fighter 6. What it does is that whenever an enemy is about to perform any kind of move, a white outline will surround them. It doesn’t matter whether the enemy is performing a block or an offensive attack; the white outline will appear irrespective of a move. Furthermore, it could occur either before a move or after it is performed by the enemy.

Despite Street Fighter 6 being one of the most newcomer-friendly games in the series, it can still be hard for new players to fully grasp all the gameplay mechanics and combos in the game. But as you advance through the game, you will eventually start getting familiar with them. At first, getting comfortable with “Pressure Time” may take time since Street Fighter 6 is certainly the “flashiest” game in the whole mainline series. But with enough practice, you will eventually get hold of it.

How to use it?

So, how do you use “Pressure Time”? First and foremost, “Pressure Time” isn’t an active mechanic like the Drive System. It’s not a move that you can perform. So, when the World Tour objective asks you to “Use Pressure Time”, what it means is that you need to utilize it to attack the opponent. That said, when you see a flash of a white line on an enemy’s silhouette, take advantage of the “pressure time” and use your own attack on the opponent to stun them and further beat them into submission.

We certainly hope that this guide has helped you get to know what “Pressure Time” exactly is in the game. For more guides and information on Street Fighter 6 and other games in general, don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement.
