How to Get & Unlock Big Bloons Achievement in Bloons TD (BTD) 6?

Developer Ninja Kiwi has been in the video game business for some time and is still going strong. And Bloons TD 6 is their one, if not the most popular, video game since the series’ inception in 2007. Released in 2018, BTD 6 is the sixth mainline Bloons TD game in this long-running series. Now available for Windows, macOS, Android, Apple Arcade, and iOS devices, it’s an amazing tower defense game akin to the likes of OTTTD (Over The Top Tower Defense), Mindustry, and Plants vs. Zombies. Last month, in May, the game had an average player count of 11,560, according to Steam Charts. And that’s just for the PC platform. Suffice it to say, Bloons TD 6 is still as popular as ever and going strong. Recently, some players in the community were found asking for ways to unlock the “Big Bloons” achievement in the game. Achievements are a big part of video games, especially for BTD 6. And they certainly are for completionists. Developers include achievements in their games to create engagement. Now, some achievements are quite easy to complete, but then there are some that are quite hard to do. But in the end, they can all be completed with enough determination. According to Steam, there are currently 146 achievements in Bloons TD 6. “Big Bloons” is one of them. So, how do you get and unlock it in the game? Let’s find out!

Version 10.0 of Bloons TD 6 introduced an entirely new feature/option for its players called – Big Bloon. When activated, the size of visible bloons in the game increases, but their hitboxes remain unaffected. The mode is more of a novelty thing meant for fun rather than something else entirely. So, there is no advantage to using this mode in the game other than the fact that it is just for the visuals.

If you want to get the Big Bloons achievement in Bloons TD 6, first and foremost, you need to equip Pat Fusty as your chosen hero and then complete ten (10) games with him. After doing so, don’t forget to navigate to the Achievements section of the game and claim it. While you are at it, to enable the “Big Bloon” option, go to Options and click on Extras. Next, you will find a “Big Bloon Option” there. Activate/Enable it. Pat Fusty is available to players who have unlocked level 10, and it costs 3000 Monkey Money. Incredibly giant in size compared to other heroes, he uses slam attacks as his method of attacking bloons.
