A royal heartbreak.
Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, has called it quits with his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace after three years.
Phillips, the king’s nephew and the eldest of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren, kickstarted his romance with Wallace, 43, back in 2021 following the demise of his 13-year marriage to Autumn Kelly.
The pair attending several royal events in recent years. UK Press via Getty ImagesWhile it’s unclear why Phillips, 46, and Wallace went their separate ways after years of displaying a “rock-solid” union, sources told the Sun that they remain amicable.
“They were friends before their relationship blossomed. But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course,” an insider told the outlet.

The pair each have two children from previous relationships.
Phillips shares daughters Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12, with his Canadian ex-wife. Wallace, for her part, is a stay-at-home mom to two kids she shares with her businessman ex-husband Andrew, to whom she was married for 11 years.
Wallace’s ties to the royal family kickstarted back in her school days as she was classmates with Phillips’ sister Zara Tindall, 42, at Gordonstoun School in Scotland.
After kickstarting a relationship, the duo went from strength to strength, with Phillips even introducing Wallace to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, at Windsor Castle.

Insiders at the time said this was a “clear sign Lindsay had been welcomed into the family” and conversations of a wedding began to swirl.
It’s unclear when their romance began to derail, and the pair did not join the royals at Sandringham for Christmas last year.

They made the news public in June the following year.
Phillips, 18th in line to the throne, issued an update on his uncle King Charles last month following news of the royal family’s ailments.
Phillips said that the monarch, 75, is “frustrated” by the pace of his cancer recovery.

“He is always pushing his staff and everybody — his doctors and nurses — to be able to say ‘Actually can I do this, can I do that?’” he added.
