The Padres continued to add to their bullpen with the addition of Korean closer Woo Suk Go as the two sides agreed to a two-year contract, the team confirmed Wednesday.
The deal is worth $4.5 million, The Post’s Joel Sherman reported.
It’s the second major international bullpen addition that San Diego has made this winter after bringing in Japanese left-hander Yuki Matsui.
The move helps the team bolster its back end after Josh Hader, Nick Martinez and Luis García hit free agency.
Go’s deal with the Padres includes a mutual option in 2026, according to The Athletic’s Dennis Lin.
The reliever will make $1.75 million in the first year of the contract and $2.25 million during the second year, according to Lin.
There is a $500,000 buyout on the option in the third year, which is valued at $3 million.

Go is the brother-in-law of center fielder Jung Hoo Lee, who signed with the San Francisco Giants earlier this offseason after San Diego had interest.
The 25-year-old righty is an experienced closer with 139 saves with a 3.18 ERA and 401 strikeouts in 368 1/3 innings over seven seasons.

The Padres also have right-hander Robert Suarez and Matsui in the fold who could also be options for late-inning roles.
San Diego is coming off a disappointing season in which it failed to make the postseason after coming in with World Series expectations.
