Lily James Declines To Address Dominic West Scandal, Hints Of An Explanation Later

Actor Lily James is not ready to discuss a photo scandal involving Dominic West but hinted that she would eventually divulge more details.

In October 2020, James, 32, found herself at the center of affair rumors after she was photographed in Rome getting cozy with West, 51, her co-star in “Pursuit of Love.” West, who starred in the HBO police drama "The Wire," is married to Catherine FitzGerald and they have four children. West also starred in the Showtime drama, "The Affair," which explored the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship.

In an interview with the Guardian, James was asked about the scandal but declined to discuss it.

“Ach, I’m not really willing to talk about that. There is a lot to say, but not now, I’m afraid,” she said.

Following James and West’s adventure around Rome, they were spotted together at an airport in mid-October. West reunited with FitzGerald the next day.

West and FitzGerald staged a photoshoot and appeared to put up a united front against paparazzi outside their home.

While posing for the cameras, West and FitzGerald smiled and shared a few kisses.

The two also revealed a handwritten note, insisting their marriage was fine. “Our marriage is strong, and we’re very much still together. Thank you,” the note read.

James is currently dating American musician Michael Shuman. The couple was recently photographed holding hands in Los Angeles.
