She’s not crying wolf.

Martin Scorcese’s 2013 dark comedy “The Wolf of Wall Street” shocked viewers with its raunchy scenes featuring heavy drug use, extreme profanity and sex.

The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was based on real-life wolf of Wall Street and convicted former stockbroker Jordan Belfort, 60. Belfort’s ex-wife Nadine Macaluso, 54, revealed on TikTok last week that a jaw-dropping pool party scene from the movie was based on a real event.

In the film, Margot Robbie, who plays a character inspired by Macaluso, goes to a pool party where Jonah Hill’s character, Donnie Azoff, exposes himself to her and masturbates. Hill’s role was based on real-life stockbroker Danny Porush, and while Macaluso won’t confirm who exposed himself to her, she said someone really did.

“So you guys have been asking, ‘How did you meet Belfort, the wolf of Wall Street?’ Well it’s actually pretty similar to the movie,” she began in her TikTok video.

“I was 22 years old and modeling. My boyfriend at the time said, ‘Do you want to go to the party in West Hampton at a house on the beach?’ I was like, ‘Sure,’ ” the therapist went on.

The scene in the critically acclaimed flick shows partygoers taking Quaaludes and other drugs to get a buzz, just like in Macaluso’s telling of the story.

“We pulled up and I remember walking into the house. There were all these people and they were acting really weird. Little did I know, they were all Quaaluded out, I had no idea,” she recalled.

“They were all there with their wives, but they were making lewd and weird comments,” she said. “That scene where someone exposes himself to me was true.”

She added, “I actually got terrified by that. I’m 22 and I said to my boyfriend at the time, ‘We have to leave this party,’ and we left right away.”

The mother of two’s life is much different now than when she was 22. Macaluso works as a therapist and an educator, helping other women leave abusive relationships.

She frequently shares videos about the film and her tumultuous relationship with Belfort. The two were married from 1991 until 1998.

Macaluso recently opened up to Insider about her life with Belfort, recalling her traumatic experiences.

She credits therapy for helping her survive and cope with her marriage. “I’m a 54-year-old woman, and I’ve been to hell and back,” she said. “They can project all over me and say what they want. It doesn’t faze me.”

“My ex-husband exploited our life in the way he wanted to,” Macaluso said. “And I’m using that engine [TikTok] to help people — to empower them, and teach them and to break the stigma of mental health.”

Belfort is also no stranger to TikTok, and posts financial and career advice.

Most recently, he told a young man to “just quit” his job and look for something better.
