Should Aaron Rodgers join the AFC East as a member of the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen offered a unique approach on how to “slay the dragon.”
During an appearance at a flag football charity event in Orange County, Calif. over the weekend, the 26-year-old Allen spoke to Brandon Marshall of the “I Am Athlete” podcast, with the conversation veering towards Rodgers’ football future.
“I think he’s too competitive to not do anything,” Allen said of the 39-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback, who has not yet made a decision about a possible 19th season.

Allen chuckled before responding, “Just gotta keep some ayahuasca on hand.”
Rodgers has long been candid about his past use of psychedelic drugs.

“To me, one of the core tenets of your mental health is that self-love,” Rodgers said.
“That’s what ayahuasca did for me, was help me see how to unconditionally love myself.”

“Stay tuned. It won’t be long,” Rodgers said at the time.
Days later, however, the waiting game for Rodgers continues.

Although the quarterback is still a member of the Packers as of Tuesday morning, the Jets are pushing to bring one of Rodgers’ favorite targets to New York, working to secure wide receiver Allen Lazard in free agency, ESPN reported.
Lazard, 27, had been with the Packers since 2018 and recorded a career-high of 60 receptions last year.
