Jets ‘most likely’ landing spot for Odell Beckham despite multiple offers

A potential Odell Beckham Jr.-Jets union is getting closer.

The free agent wide receiver has offers from multiple teams — with the Jets being the “most likely” landing spot for him, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

The Ravens reportedly made a push to sign Beckham — who is roughly 13 months removed from his second ACL tear he sustained in the 2022 Super Bowl — but the Pro Bowl wideout could be waiting to see if the Aaron Rodgers-Jets deal gets finalized.

The pair are close and have discussed playing together in New York, according to SNY’s Connor Hughes.

Beckham and the Jets share mutual interest in getting a deal done, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported last week.

The reports came days after Beckham replied to a tweet suggesting he should go to the Jets.

The 30-year-old Super Bowl champion left a bulging eyes emoji under the tweet.

As for Rodgers?

The 39-year-old quarterback said earlier this month on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he intends to play for the Jets in 2023 — and that the Packers are “digging their heels in” trying to get compensation for him.

On Wednesday, ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio told McAfee that while the Jets and Packers still have yet to agree on compensation for Rodgers, Green Bay has backed off from wanting New York’s first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft as part of the package.

Rodgers and Beckham have spoken highly of one another on multiple occasions — with the three-time Pro Bowl receiver flirting with the idea of playing together in a social media post last June.

Beckham was also on Rodgers’ reported list of players he gave the Jets to look into, which also included his Green Bay teammates Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and tight end Marcedes Lewis.

The Jets signed Lazard this month after five seasons with the Packers, much of that under offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who is now with the Jets.

Rodgers denied that he provided New York with a “wish list” of free agents to target.

Beckham recently attended the NFL owners meetings in Arizona, where he currently resides — and had an “informal” meeting with Jets brass.

He also spent time talking to Rams GM Les Snead and Browns coach Kevin Stefanski.

Earlier this month, Beckham, who missed all of last season amid his ACL recovery, held a workout in Arizona for multiple teams, including the Jets and his former team, the Giants.

The Bills, Patriots, Rams, Ravens, Browns, Panthers, Cardinals, 49ers, Chiefs and Vikings were reportedly all in attendance.

Beckham made headlines towards the end of the 2022 season as a potential late addition, but reportedly was not healthy enough to secure an offer.

Entering his ninth season, Beckham has 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns on 531 career receptions.

Although Beckham looked healthy and explosive during his recent workout, his injury history could be a red flag for teams and compensation.

Beckham, who has torn his ACL twice since 2020, recently denied a report from Florio that said he wants a deal worth $20 million annually.
