Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ‘The Age of Pleasure.’
Triple threat Janelle Monáe — she sings, raps and has acted in films like “Glass Onion,” “Moonlight” and “Hidden Figures” — just announced her upcoming 26-concert ‘The Age of Pleasure Tour’ that will send her to venues all over North America.
That includes two huge New York gigs.
First up, Monáe will perform at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 26.
Then, on Sept. 28, she’ll bring her funk, soul, R&B and hip-hop hits to Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre.
And if you need tickets to see the “Make Me Feel” singer who just posed for Rolling Stone topless (!) live, you can pick them up as soon as today.
Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Wednesday, June 7, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Before Monáe takes off on her nationwide jaunt, she’ll headline at this year’s Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco, CA from Aug. 11-13.
Other headliners on the impressive bill include Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Odesza, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion and many more.

Janelle Monáe new music
“The Age of Pleasure” is Monáe’s attempt to write “from such an honest space…tap into the things that bring pleasure” and be “specific to this Pan-African crowd who are my friends” she told interviewer Zane Lowe.
To work out the tracks, Monáe had friends listen to them at events like her Met Gale after-party to get a gauge on whether or not the songs were up album-worthy.
