"We missed you by two days! These Michiganders would have loved to have met you. Pro-tip, avoid the Oyster Bar - my husband is still not well 2 days later. Really enjoy you both, thanks for all the entertainment!" a fourth person commented.
Shepard and Bell have never been shy to express their love for each other. The "Armchair Expert" podcast host celebrated Mother's Day by sharing a nude photo of his wife doing yoga with nothing but socks.
The actress was doing the three-legged downward-facing dog pose. He placed a red box to cover his wife's behind and gushed over her in the caption.
"Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you @kristenanniebell," he wrote.
In an interview with "CBS Morning," Bell said she and her husband were "polar opposites." She added that they compromise to make their marriage work while pointing out that "a recipe is not delicious with one ingredient.".
"You have to have diverse points of view," she said. Bell added that they were working on becoming better Purple People. They share their bedroom conversations in their new podcast, "The Honey and the Hammer."
"Our goal is to allow people to vent," she said, "and then encourage them to say, 'ok what do you think your side of the street is?'"
