Gary Neville heard what Cristiano Ronaldo had to say about him loud and clear.
Two days after Ronaldo slammed Neville in a bombshell interview, stating the former Manchester United teammates were “not ever having dinner together,” Neville playfully responded on Twitter.
“Anyone for dinner?” he tweeted Tuesday.

Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United in 2021, went scorched earth on the club in a sit-down with Piers Morgan, which is set to be broadcast this week, and took aim at manager Erik ten Hag in particular.
Ronaldo recently snubbed Neville, 47, ahead of Manchester United’s match against West Ham. The cold shoulder came as Neville has been critical of his former teammate, who refused to come on as a substitute last month in a victory against Tottenham. Ronaldo, 37, was then banished from the club for the following trip to Chelsea.

In the wake of Neville’s remarks, Ronaldo said, “To listen as ex-colleagues or teammates criticize you, when they only see one point of view. It’s easy,” per The Sun.
“It’s easy to criticize, I don’t know if you have a job in television that they must criticize to be more famous. I really don’t understand it. It’s hard when you see people who was in the dressing room with you criticizing that way.”
