The ladies are back in action!
Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York are putting their Manolos on and are ready to take on the Big Apple once again.
The much-anticipated “Sex and the City”‘ spinoff “And Just Like That…” is finally dropping Dec. 9, and a new trailer was released on Tuesday to tide fans over.
The nearly two-minute teaser shows a variety of fun scenes in which the old cast walks the streets of Manhattan while rocking designer labels.
“The more I live, the more I find that if you have good friends in your corner anything’s possible,” Carrie says in the clip as the host of a new podcast.
One shot showed Mr. Big getting his sweat on while working out on a Peloton-like bike. Another had Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda enjoying a gorgeous picnic lunch in the park while laughing and gossiping just like old times.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are reprising their roles as Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, respectively. Stars from the original 1998 series who are also coming back include Chris Noth as Mr. Big, the late Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch, Mario Cantone as Marentino, Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt and David Eigenberg as Steve Brady.
The last member of the Fab Foursome, p. r. guru and sex goddess Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall in the parent series and two subsequent films, will not be joining the cast. The new show will reportedly explain Samantha’s absence by moving her to London after she had a falling out with Carrie, the Daily Mail reported.

Ramírez, who identifies as nonbinary, was the center of several scenes in the trailer, including one in which their character, Che Diaz, talks with Carrie about self-pleasure on their podcast.

And as for dating, there’s still plenty of it. In the teaser, Carrie asks Choudhury’s character Seema Patel how many dating apps she’s on.
Of course, there was some enviable fashion.HBO“I’m just waiting for someone to create a dating site that’s called ‘Here’s the man you’ve been searching for, Seema,'” Choudhury’s Patel retorts.
“There will always be roads not taken,” Miranda says to another friend at dinner. “You can have it all. It’s just really hard.”
In another scene, Ramírez’s character performs a live stand-up on stage with the women watching the audience. “If you’re not happy with who you are, then step out of that box and change!” she says. The teaser also showed Charlotte and Harry’s grown-up daughters, Lily and Rose.
“And after just like that, after all these years and all the changes, you’re still… you,” Carrie declares at the end of the clip.
The 10-episode series will debut its first two episodes on HBO Max, with the Season One finale airing in Feb. 2022.
