Carla Suarez Navarro was diagnosed with cancer right after she announced her retirement from tennis.
Ms. Navarro was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, which affects the immune system, in September 2020.
She underwent eight sessions of chemotherapy and radiotherapy over several months in Barcelona.
In April, Suarez declared she was cancer-free and returned to action at Roland Garros.
