BET Awards 2022 Live Stream: When, Where To Watch Show Online And On TV

On Sunday, stars will pour into the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate a night dedicated to honoring African Americans and other minorities for their contributions and achievements in the entertainment industry.

Actress Taraji P. Henson has been tapped once again to host the star-studded night for a second year.

Although the BET Awards will air on television Sunday night, fans won’t need to have a cable subscription to tune into the show.

The ceremony can be live-streamed on YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, Fubo TV, and Sling TV through memberships and free trials.


Doja Cat is up for the most awards of the night with six nominations, including album of the year for “Planet Her,” best female hip hop artist, and best female R&B/Pop artist.

Other nominees for album of the year include Drake for “Certified Lover Boy,” Kanye West for “Donda,” H.E.R. for “Back of My Mind,” Silk Sonic for “An Evening With Silk Sonic,” Jazmine Sullivan for “Heaux Tales, Mo’Tales: The Deluxe,” and Tyler, the Creator for “Call Me If You Get Lost.”

Aside from music, best actress nominees include Issa Rae for “Insecure,” Jennifer Hudson for “Respect,” Regina King for “The Harder They Fall,” Mary J. Blige for “Power Book II: Ghost,” Queen Latifah for “The Equalizer,” Aunjanue Ellis for “King Richard,” Quinta Brunson for “Abbot Elementary,” and Coco Jones for “Bel Air.”

Several artists, including Lizzo, Ella Mai, Chance the Rapper, Babyface, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow, and more, are expected to hit the stage on Sunday evening to perform.

Meanwhile, Diddy will receive the lifetime achievement award. Past recipients include New Edition, Gladys Knight, Prince, and James Brown.

“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” BET CEO Scott Mills said in a statement

“His virtuosity is matched only by his range – from music to media, culture, business, and philanthropy – Diddy has exemplified Black Excellence. We are delighted to have this opportunity to use our biggest stage to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of our friend Diddy.”

Fans will have to tune into the ceremony to see if their favorite stars will walk away with the coveted trophy.

The 2022 BET Awards will air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
