Gal Gadot got candid on her personal encounter with Joss Whedon when the latter allegedly threatened to make her career miserable.
The "Wonder Woman" star confirmed the anonymous reports claiming that Whedon threatened her career when they reshot "Justice League." However, Gadot said she "took care of it."
"He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable and I just took care of it instead," she was quoted by Entertainment Weekly as telling Israeli news outlet N12.
Last year, Ray Fisher complained about Whedon's alleged mistreatment toward him on the set of "Justice League." A "knowledgeable source" told The Hollywood Reporter that Gadot also clashed with the filmmaker and the latter threatened to damage her career and disparage "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins.
The biggest clash allegedly happened when Whedon forced Gadot to record lines that she didn't like. He allegedly threatened to harm her career telling Gadot he was the writer and she should shut up because he could make her look "incredibly stupid in this movie."
"I had my issues with [Whedon] and Warner Bros. handled it in a timely manner," Gadot told THR at the time.
In December, the "Fast and Furious" star showed support to Fisher amid his allegation against Whedon.
"I wasn't there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon," Gadot told the Los Angeles Times. "I had my own experience with [him], which wasn't the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I'm happy for Ray to go up and say his truth."
Gadot was not the only “Justice League” star who supported Fisher. In September, "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa shared a snap of him with Fisher from Comic-Con back in 2017. In the caption, he shared how they were not treated well during the reshoots for "Justice League."
"THIS S--T HAS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT @ray8fisher AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO EXPERIENCED WHAT HAPPEN UNDER THE WATCH OF @wbpictures NEEDS PROPER INVESTIGATION," Momoa wrote on Instagram.
"I just think it’s [explicit] up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the s---ty way we were treated on 'Justice League' reshoots. Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable. #IStandWithRayFisher. aloha j."
