Jaslyn Adams was in the car with her father heading towards McDonald’s on 18th April 2021. Both of them got shot inside a Silver Infini at the McDonald’s, 3200 W. Roosevelt Road. It was 4:20 PM in the afternoon.
This gunshot brutally killed Jaslyn and her father was seriously injured. One of the anonymous McDonald’s employees was an eye witness on this and gave all the details to the press.

Regarding her parents, Jaslyn Adams’s father is Jontae Adams, who is 29 years old.
He was shot along with his daughter in the Chicago McDonald’s shooting. Father Adams is said to be in a serious condition and admitted to the hospital.
This news was broken to Jaslyn’s grandmother by her father via phone. Similarly, Jaslyn had three siblings and her grandmother’s name is Lawanda McMullen.

No, the suspects are yet to be arrested as the police are still investigating the case.
Just 3 hours later, similar shooting occurred at Popeyes in Humboldt Park. This killed a 33-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who were enjoying their ordered food inside their car. The man was shot on his leg and the woman on her abdomen.
There are speculations that these two cases are somewhat related and the killings must be through a prominent gang.
However, there are details to be followed and the shooting suspect is yet to be disclosed to the public.
