The 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs have not lost a regular season or playoff game since Christmas 2023.
That means it will be a whopping 321 days (!) since Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and co. last suffered a loss when they take GEHA Field at their home Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 10 against Bo Nix’s 5-4 Denver Broncos.
Still, the undefeated Chiefs can’t exactly take it easy this weekend.
“We look forward to the challenge of playing Denver,” coach Andy Reid said in a press conference. “We know they’re a good football team. They’re very well coached.”
Plus, even though the Broncos got stomped by Baltimore last weekend, it should be noted that Kansas City’s last few wins have been scarily close even with new additions DeAndre Hopkins Joshua Uche in tow. A 30-24 overtime victory over the 4-5 Buccaneers doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
Therefore, the team can use all the help they can get from Red Coaters this weekend to extend their impressive streak.
