EXCLUSIVE: UTA and Anonymous Content have signed filmmaker Francis Galluppi for representation in all areas, ahead of the world premiere of his debut feature, The Last Stop in Yuma County, at Fantastic Fest.
The crime thriller tells the story of an unassuming knife salesman (Jim Cummings) who unexpectedly finds himself trapped in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with two bank robbers at a remote rest stop. Jocelin Donahue, Richard Brake, Nicholas Logan, Faizon Love and more co-star in the pic, which is set to make its international premiere at Sitges Film Festival next month. UTA Independent Film Group is co-repping sales for the title alongside XYZ Films.

His second short film, the 2019 horror thriller High Desert Hell, claimed the 2019 Catalina Film Festival’s Wes Craven Award, with his follow-up short, the sci-fi thriller The Gemini Project, securing the title of Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Short Film at the Burbank Film Festival the following year.
The filmmaker, who has also helmed multiple music videos for the L.A.-based indie rock band Mt. Joy, will see The Last Stop in Yuma County debut at the Austin, TX-based genre festival Fantastic Fest’s Theater 6 at 5:15 p.m. local time on September 23rd.
