Trevor Lawrence helps fan with home decorating request: ‘Hang em up!’

Trevor Lawrence helped a couple’s relationship thrive with just one tweet.

On Friday, the rookie quarterback replied to a fan on Twitter, whose fiancee said he couldn’t hang up his Jaguars jerseys in their home –unless Lawrence himself acknowledged the husband-to-be.

“Buying our first home and the fiancé has agreed to let me hang up my [Josh Allen], [Myles Jack] and Tlaw jersey in the living room if I can get @Trevorlawrencee to acknowledge this tweet,” the fan tweeted last Wednesday.

“Can a guy get some help??,” he added, tagging the Jaguars in the tweet.

Lawrence, was happy to oblige.

“HANG EM’ UP!,” the top pick of the 2021 NFL Draft tweeted.

The fan shared a screengrab of a text conversation with his fiancee, who said, “I will allow you to hang up those Jacksonville Jaguars jerseys in our new living room if you can get Trevor Lawrence himself to acknowledge you.”

She added a few crying-laughing emojis. The deal was set when the man’s fiancee confirmed that he was allowed to use Twitter to reach Lawrence.

In other news, Lawrence, who finished mandatory mini camp with the Jaguars Thursday, learned this week that he’s not a lock for the starting quarterback spot come the fall.

“We certainly haven’t named a starter,” Jaguars passing game coordinator Brian Schottenheimer told reporters earlier this week.

“Our objective from Day 1 was to build the best quarterback room that we could.”
