‘Totally Funny Animals’ Renewed For Season 2 At The CW

EXCLUSIVE: There’s going to be a lot more amusing pets and wildlife on The CW after the network renewed Totally Funny Animals for a supersized second season.

The Nexstar-owned network handed V10 Entertainment-owned FishBowl Worldwide Media, which is behind the series, a 100-episode order. This is more than three times as large as the 30-episode order that it received for season one, which premiered on The CW in February 2024 and ran through November.

The clip-based reality format, hosted by comedian Andy Woodhull, highlights the funniest caught-on-camera moments featuring pets and wildlife—ranging from sneezing cats and playful dogs to dumpster-diving bears and mischievous raccoons.

V10 Entertainment is also behind series such as ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos as well as Peacock’s Blue Collar Auction and Fox’s World’s Funniest Videos.

It comes a few months after the Clarion Capital-backed media company brought in former Paramount Global executive Carter Skeath as President and acquired the global distribution rights to AFV from Disney.

“As one of the largest single-season broadcast network orders, the renewal underscores the versatility, repeatability, and mass appeal of clip-based formats. Audiences have overwhelmingly embraced Andy and these wildly comical captured moments. We’re thrilled to keep the laughs rolling with The CW, who has been a fantastic partner, collaborator, and champion of the Totally Funny franchise,” said Skeath.
