This is a bloody different role for Timothée Chalamet.

The 26-year-old heartthrob plays an allusive yet romantic cannibal in the upcoming horror drama “Bones and All.”

The coming-of-age film tells the story of a girl named Maren — played by Taylor Russell — who is desperate to find where she belongs when she becomes romantically involved a man named Lee (Chalamet).

In a dark twist, both characters are cannibals and travel across America together.

Leonard Cohen’s haunting 2016 tune “You Want It Darker” accompanies the skin-crawling movie trailer, which was released Thursday, and shows the pair slaying fellow humans and pulling away, covered in blood.

“You don’t think I’m a bad person?” Chalamet tearfully asks Russell in the trailer.

“All I think is that I love you,” she whispers.

The film is based on Camille DeAngelis’ novel of the same name.

The movie premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month where it received a nearly nine-minute standing ovation.

“There is something about the disenfranchised, about people living on the margins of society, that I am drawn toward and touched by. I want to see where the possibilities lie for them, enmeshed within the impossibility they face,” director Luca Guadagnino said in a statement about the film.

“The movie is for me a meditation on who I am and how I can overcome what I feel, especially if it is something I cannot control in myself. And lastly, and most importantly, when will I be able to find myself in the gaze of the other?” he added.
