First Ever Title

The first NCAA Tournament happened in 1939 with only eight teams participating.

Oregon, who was coached by Howard Hobson, won the national title with a 46-33 victory in the final game against Ohio State. The Ducks didn’t make their next Final Four appearance until 2017.
