Farrah Abraham was arrested for allegedly slapping a security guard at a nightclub in Los Angeles over the weekend, but she claimed it was a "complete setup."
The former "Teen Mom" star, 30, was arrested and booked Saturday night after officers responded to a battery call at the club, a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Abraham was booked into county jail early Sunday and has since been released, Page Six reported. A court date has been scheduled for May 19.
Abraham allegedly slapped a security guard at Grandmaster Records in Hollywood after partying there with a friend, according to TMZ, which was first to report the news.
An eyewitness told the outlet that a person described as a Farrah "hater" allegedly assaulted the reality star and her friend at the club.
When security arrived, Abraham allegedly "got belligerent" and was asked to leave the club but refused, the report said. At some point, she allegedly slapped a guard, prompting police to be called and for her to be detained at the scene.
"Security called LAPD and placed the suspect under [private persons arrest] PPA arrest for battery," a statement from the LAPD read.
In a statement to TMZ addressing the arrest, Abraham alleged that she was "maliciously battered, attacked [and] conspired against" while having dinner at Grandmaster Records.
"This was a private person's arrest my lawyer is handling from here. It is terrifying and traumatizing that people attack me and I cannot even enjoy dinner as I’m the only person out of three [who was] attacked and harassed. I look forward to court," the MTV star said, adding that "this place is a danger to public figures."
Abraham claimed that the establishment's workers attacked her and that they allegedly filmed the incident to leak to the media. She also alleged that she was singled out as her two friends were not harassed.
On Sunday, Abraham shared a video of the incident on her Instagram showing her struggling on the ground with a security guard on top of her.
She alleged that the altercation was pre-planned by other people and said she decided to post the video "as no woman or man should ever be battered, abused, conspired, ganged up on, set up, recorded and [have their] video sold."
"I’m putting a restraining order on @antonelloparloto livebad who made this dinner reservation and conspired an attack on myself with the staff at @grandmaster_recorders as it was a 'private persons arrest' complete setup," she alleged.
Abraham went on to allege that she was "attacked, bruised, battered" as well as "conspired against as a paying customer." She called out the club again and demanded that it fire its management. She also thanked the police for "rescuing" her.
"[Women], it is a scary unsafe world we live in, act upon your rights and always care for others even when everyone hurts you and attacks you. You are resilient and you are stronger than all of the weak people out there who hurt and traumatize us," she concluded.
It is unclear whether or not she will be formally charged.
Abraham previously pleaded guilty in 2018 to a misdemeanor involving a security guard at the Beverly Hills Hotel in June that year. She was sentenced to two years probation and five days of community labor at the time.
