Dan Lembo, who appeared as a contestant on “Survivor: Nicaragua,” has died at age 75.
The Brooklyn native was found dead at his Manhattan home on Sept. 3, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not provided.
Lembo was 63 when he appeared on the hit TV show in 2010. The fan-favorite was part of the Espada tribe and came in fifth place after being voted out on Day 37.
Friends and family described Lembo as a “charismatic, larger-than-life, outgoing bon vivant,” saying he “loved nothing more than spending time with his children and friends – new and old.”
“On weekends he enjoyed softball in Bridgehampton with friends,” Lembo’s obituary read. “Daniel will be remembered as a friend to all and a father to two.”
Prior to his TV appearance, the Brooklyn College alum spent most of his career working in real estate.

In his obituary, Lembo’s son Matthew wrote, “Thank you for being my Dad. You were a happy person. You were my best friend. I will miss you.”
Meanwhile, Michael wrote, “Dad, no matter the situation, you were always there for me. You were my first phone call. You were my travel buddy. Every weekend, we would take our trips.
“From skiing in Vermont, looking at homes in the Hamptons, a sunny weekend in Miami, or a Yankees’ playoff game, we were always together. I will miss you. I love you.”
