Steve Lodge is firing back at the allegations made by his ex-fiancée Vicki Gunvalson against him.

On Friday, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star, 59, accused Lodge of infidelity and claimed her ex "lied" to her and "used" her in a scathing social media tirade.

Speaking out for the first time since their split was revealed last month, Lodge denied Gunvalson's allegations and claimed that the Bravo star won't accept their breakup.

"Vicki and I ended our engagement and relationship in December of 2020. I did this in person verbally and explained it to her in writing," he said in a statement to People.

Lodge further claimed that he and Gunvalson have not been in "an intimate relationship" since September 2020 and that he has been living in his own condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, since the beginning of this year.

Lodge — who dated Gunvalson for three years before proposing in April 2019 — said the pair remained friends but that it was "clear to me Vicki was still wanting more, which I told her was not possible."

"I wanted to move on with my life and I could not do that with Vicki. I'm sorry that Vicki cannot accept this, but it was time," he said, before accusing his ex of spreading "absolute lies" about him on social media.

The gubernatorial hopeful concluded his statement by saying that he wishes his ex "all the best."

Lodge made the statement in response to the scathing comments Gunvalson wrote under pal Tamra Judge's Instagram post supporting her

"He used me, he lied to me. He's been dating a 36-year-old and is not what he portrays himself to be. No Christian man would do what he's done," Gunvalson alleged of Lodge.

"While sleeping in your bed running for governor, using your followers. #unfollow," Judge added.

In another comment, Gunvalson claimed that Lodge once took his alleged girlfriend to the reality star's condo in Mexico while she was out of town for a business trip. "He’s been flaunting around my town in OC making out in public places. It’s disgusting," she claimed.

Gunvalson has not responded to requests for comment, according to the outlet.

Gunvalson and Lodge announced their split last month. They were engaged for two years before they decided to call it quits.

"The time has come for Steve and I to move forward or move on and we are …. moving on," Gunvalson wrote on Instagram. "There is no fault with either person, we are just going in different directions."

She went on to delete all her photos with Lodge, including their engagement announcement. The exes also unfollowed each other.
