Steve Harvey is supportive of his daughter Lori Harvey's relationship with boyfriend Michael B. Jordan.

The "Family Feud" star shared his thoughts on Lori's romance with the "Black Panther" actor during an interview on "People (The TV show!)." According to Harvey, he had nothing bad to say about Jordan and was very happy for his model-influencer daughter.

"I don't speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I'm happy for my daughter right now. I really am," the 64-year-old comedian said. "It's the first time I've been happy for her [in a relationship]. And it's the first time she's been happy."

Lori, 24, and Jordan, 34, have been showing off how much they adore each other on social media since making their relationship Instagram official in January.

According to the "Little Big Shots" host, Jordan already has his approval. "He's just a good guy. If he wasn't, get him out of here, 'cause I have ways," Harvey added. "But I can't say nothing bad, man. He's just got a great family, man. He's a spiritual guy."

When asked about Jordan being People's reigning Sexiest Man Alive, the comedian joked, "He's not the sexiest man alive to me, at all. I haven't seen it. I haven't seen anything sexy yet."

Harvey continued, "But I'm a father. I don't give a damn if you [are] cute. I just want somebody to treat my princess the way I treat her."

This was not the first time Harvey had commented on Lori's relationship with Jordan. In January, he said on his iHeartRadio show, "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," that he liked Jordan, but he "still got my eye on" the actor.

"I mean, I like him, but like I say to all of 'em, 'I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your a--. Just in case I need it,'" Harvey said. "Like right now? Nice guy…But I got this little section partner, where all I gotta do is click a switch and I can hate your a--."

Jordan and Lori began sparking dating rumors in November 2020 but only made their relationship Instagram official on Jan. 10. In the same month, they enjoyed a romantic getaway in St. Barts for her 24th birthday.

At the time, the "Creed" star and his girlfriend had already been dating for four months. But they were friends for years before they became an item.
