Star Wars Day: 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Series Trailer Features Darth Vader [Watch]

The trailer of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" was released Wednesday to mark Star Wars Day, which is celebrated annually on May 4 by fans across the world.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi" is a six-part limited series that will premiere on Disney+. The first two episodes will drop on May 27, while the remaining will release in the following weeks. The finale of the series is slated to release on June 22.

The one-minute, 29-second trailer features the battle between iconic villain Lord Darth Vader (played by Hayden Christensen) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Ewan McGregor). The story will follow the events that took place in the 2005 movie "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith."

In the video, Obi-Wan Kenobi can be heard saying, "they are coming" and asking people to "stay hidden or we will not survive." The trailer features a bunch of spaceships and action-packed sequences.

It also gives a glimpse of comedian Kumail Nanjiani. The series also stars Rupert Friend, Joel Edgerton, Sung Kang, Indira Varma, Moses Ingram, Bonnie Piesse, O'Shea Jackson Jr. and Simone Kessell. "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is helmed by Deborah Chow and penned by Joby Harold.
