Rob Gronkowski was asked to break out his crystal ball on Tom Brady.

Gronkowski was speaking with NSPN – Champa Bay TV and got asked which organization his former quarterback would pick if it came down to the Buccaneers or Raiders.

“The Bucs versus the Raiders? Oh man,” Gronkowski responded. “What one’s more likely? I would say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I mean, he’s been there now for three years. It’s just such a great organization. They got such great people in the front office. So, if I had to take a guess right now over those two, I would just say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.”

Brady is a looming free agent. It is unknown whether he will retire or continue playing.

Gronkowski played with Brady in New England from 2010 through 2018 and in Tampa in 2020 and 2021. Earlier this week, the retired tight end said he did not expect Brady to retire.

“Everyone wants to know about Tom Brady’s future, and I don’t even think Tom knows what his future holds right now. But let me tell you this, he was top-five in passing yards last season, he can still play the game,” Gronkowski said.

“Let me tell you, it’s going to be whatever situation intrigues him the most,” he continued. “Whatever opportunity makes him the most excited to play the game of football, that’s where he will be next year.”

The major reason Brady has been linked to Las Vegas is that it would mark a reunion with Josh McDaniels, the current head coach of the Raiders who was his longtime offensive coordinator on the Patriots.

One other club the 45-year-old Brady has been linked to so far is the Dolphins; the team tried to land him before, and was hit with tampering penalties by the NFL.

Brady was seen checking out a school for his kids in Miami; his ex-wife, model Gisele Bündchen, bought a home in the area last year.
