Oreo announced on Wednesday that its Pumpkin Spice cookies will return to shelves on Aug. 15.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that Oreo has brought back its limited-edition pumpkin spice flavor. It consists of “two golden wafer cookies filled with a rich pumpkin spice flavored creme,” Oreo described in its cookie description.
“We’re pumpkin spicing things up,” Oreo announced on its social media accounts. Oreo teased the announcement on Tuesday.

Oreo has followed other companies like Starbucks by bringing a pumpkin spice flavor back to menus in August rather than in fall.
Oreo released a limited-edition flavor Apple Cider Donut in 2021 with its pumpkin spice but it will not be bringing back that flavor cookie this year. The pumpkin spice flavor is the only new release.
