Olivia Culpo: NFL boyfriend Christian McCaffrey wants nothing to do with reality show

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey don’t exactly see eye-to-eye when it comes to her new TLC docu-series, “The Culpo Sisters,” which chronicles the real-life happenings of Olivia and her sisters, Sophia and Aurora.

During an appearance Thursday on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” Olivia said that the 49ers running back wants no part of the reality show lifestyle, but he supports her in it.

“My boyfriend is not in the series,” Culpo said. “That was probably the biggest challenge, just making sure that I respect the fact that he does not want to be on a show like this.”

Olivia also gushed over McCaffrey’s historic performance in Sunday’s 31-14 victory over the Rams. McCaffrey — who the Panthers traded to the 49ers last month — became the first player since 2005 and the 11th player in NFL history with a rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in one game.

“He had an awesome week. I’m so happy for him,” said Culpo, who had a sweet moment with McCaffrey on the sidelines prior to the game. “And who knows, maybe now that he’s a triple ‘crown-er’ he’ll want to be on the show.”

In a trailer for “The Culpo Sisters,” Olivia can be seen in tears while discussing a relationship with an unnamed ex who made her feel like “a less-than human” that “did horrible things.”

Culpo previously dated singer Nick Jonas from 2013 to 2015, and Danny Amendola from 2016 to 2019. The model/actress was first linked to McCaffrey in 2019.

Meanwhile, Sophia said that her boyfriend, Jets receiver Braxton Berrios will appear on their TLC show.

“He’s in one or two episodes, he’s not in all of it,” Sophia said of the seven-episode docu-series. “We kind of balance long distance a little bit, so he’s in some episodes, but not the whole show.”

Sophia made her relationship with Berrios Instagram official last year on Valentine’s Day. The couple moved in together a few months later, and they reside in New Jersey. A majority of the model’s work takes place in Los Angeles, where she previously lived with Olivia.
