Zach LaVine’s fiancée went all out to celebrate All-Star nod

No one is more excited about Zach LaVine’s NBA All-Star nod than his fiancée.

On Tuesday, Hunter Mar celebrated as the Chicago Bulls guard made the All-Star roster for the first time.

“1ST TIME ALL STAR!” Mar began on Instagram. “Wow, what an amazing accomplishment. There is no one more deserving of this experience. You have already been so special this season and we’re not even half way through! Proud of you baby!!!”

Mar, who got engaged to 25-year-old LaVine in April 2020, also shared separate snippets of the celebrations on social media, according to Awesemo.com, including a collection of “All Star” balloons.

“Y’all, I really just winged it w/ the decorations today NOT knowing if he actually made it or not,” she posted to her Instagram story.

Selected 13th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, LaVine played for the Minnesota Timberwolves until 2017, when he was traded to the Chicago Bulls in June of that year.

LaVine is averaging 28.8 points per game this season for the 15-16 Bulls.
