Damian Priest was at Yankee Stadium enjoying the fruits of being a world champion in WWE.
Two days after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre to become World Heavyweight champion at WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Priest was back in his hometown of The Bronx rubbing shoulders with Yankees stars.
Priest, the first Puerto Rican-born world champion since Pedro Morales in 1971, was donning a No. 22 Juan Soto jersey and got to meet and take a picture with the new Yankees slugger before Tuesday’s Yankees game with the Marlins.

“I’m a big fan our yours,” Priest told Judge. “I was just talking about you, the way you carry yourself and they way you represent this team is beautiful.”

After Judge told him he’s in a blessed position as a Yankee to represent New York City, Priest made sure to make sure it was cool with the American League’s single-season home run king that he used the catchphrase “All Rise” with Judgment Day.
Priest, who spent time growing up near Castle Hill, was also greeted by catcher Jose Trevino and YES Network analyst Nick Swisher.

Priest, who re-signed with WWE this year, lost his and his partner Finn Balor’s Undisputed World Tag Team championship on Saturday in a six-pack ladder match on Saturday.
He more than made up for it a day later.
After McIntyre ended Seth Rollins’ 316-day reign as champion, the Scottish Warrior began taunting rival CM Punk with the belt.
Punk eventually knocked him down and beat him up with his elbow brace, prompting Priest to cash in his contract for a championship match at a time of his choosing.
