Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares broke up in April after 10 months of dating, but a resurfaced Instagram comment has fans wondering if they knew each other for much longer than originally thought.
The comment, which was posted in 2018 on a bikini pic Valladares shared on Instagram the year prior, reads, “Take care. God bless you and Zac. xx.'”
The comments on Valladares’ page have been limited, so it would appear the writer knows the Australian beauty.
But it’s unclear if the Zac mentioned in the comment is in fact the “High School Musical” star.
The “Greatest Showman” actor, 33, and Valladares, 25, reportedly first met in June 2020 while she was working at the Byron Bay General Store in New South Wales. According to the Daily Mail, Valladares quit her job to spend more time with Efron.
Over the past year the waitress was spotted by Efron’s side as he filmed various projects Down Under, including “Gold,” which was shot in Adelaide, and the Netflix documentary series “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.”
The former Disney star was meant to return to the US last summer but reportedly canceled his flight back to Los Angeles in August, and had his tourist visa extended from three months to 12 months so he could shop for a home in the celebrity-beloved city of Byron Bay, where Matt Damon and the Hemsworth brothers are frequently seen.
