A UK channel has been slammed over broadcasting an X-rated show that filmed contestants taking part in a group sex session.
Channel 4’s “Open House: The Great Sex Experiment” involves couples staying in a luxury retreat to test whether opening up their relationship and having sex with other people can “strengthen their bond”.
The controversial show, which is currently in its second series, aired its most risqué episode to date with one couple hosting a 15-person orgy.
During the episode, Chanice and Richardo, who have been together for eight years, invited the other contestants back to their room for an after-party.
“We just invited everyone at the party to the after-party. There are so many experienced people. It’s just like…take us in,” Richardo said.
The situation turned steamy with house guests undressing and performing sex acts with each other.

Viewers were left stunned by the racy TV moment, with many taking to Twitter to express their outrage.
“Film on Sky finished and tv pinged onto #OpenHouse what fresh hell is this?!? I can’t believe this is on normal TV,” one person tweeted.
“OMG a 15-person orgy #openhouse,” another wrote.
“I’m too British to have an orgy. What do you talk about? Is it okay to laugh a lot? Is it okay to take a break and make a sandwich? #OpenHouse,” a third said.
“What mad is these people have kids…and their kids are gonna see this #OpenHouse,” a fourth person wrote.

This is not the first time Channel 4 has sparked controversy over its programs.
Last year, the broadcaster faced backlash after transgender comedian Jordan Gray stripped naked on live TV during episode of Friday Night Live – before playing a keyboard with her penis.
Ofcom received over 1,4000 complaints about the episode.
“We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate,” a Ofcom spokesperson told Metro.
