Trevor Megill, the brother of injured Mets starter Tylor Megill, suffered a concussion after passing out while dealing with food poisoning he suffered while in New York for the opening series.

The Brewers reliever has been placed on the seven-day concussion list.

“He ended up fainting in a phone store … fainted, fell on the ground, hit his head,” Brewers manager Pat Murphy said, according to the Associated Press. “When he came to, he called our people and let them know. We evaluated him the next morning, and it was a concussion.”

Murphy said Trevor contracted food poisoning Saturday, which marked the last time he pitched.

After the team returned to Milwaukee with a 3-0 record, Megill fell while in a store and hit his head on the ground, per the report.

“This one’s scary,” Murphy said. “I guess he hadn’t had much in his system.”

The Brewers promoted righty JB Bukauskas from Triple-A to replace Trevor on the roster.

Trevor threw a scoreless inning in each of the Brewers’ first two victories, including the 3-1 triumph on Opening Day and Saturday’s 7-6 victory.

He worked around two hits while striking out three batters in that Saturday appearance.

Trevor owns a career 5.13 ERA spanning four seasons, and this season marks his second with the Brewers. The 30-year-old posted a 3.63 ERA last year over 34 ⅔ innings (31 outings).

“He’s doing OK,” Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold said, according to The Associated Press. “We want to be cautious with those types of things, for sure.”

It’s been a rough week for the Megill brothers as both are now sidelined.

Tylor, the younger brother, also just landed on the injured list Monday with a low-grade shoulder strain after lasting just four innings Sunday when the Brewers completed the sweep.

With Tylor shelved, the Mets signed Julio Teheran to help fill the rotation woes.
