On Monday, Netflix announced its next live broadcast — a brutal roast of Tom Brady on May 5, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.

“The man. The arena. The roast of Tom Brady,” Hart says in a promo video. “No helmets. No mercy. No Brady Rule.”

“No f–kin’ problem,” Brady, 46, replies to the camera.

The funny participants for “The Roast of Tom Brady” have not been revealed, with the streamer only saying they will include “a surprise team of roasters from the comedy, sports and entertainment world.”

The insult-filled event, part of the Netflix is a Joke Festival, will take place at the Kia Arena in Los Angeles.

Seven-time Super Bowl champ Brady, who produced and appeared in the comedy film “80 for Brady,” retired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023, and is set to become an NFL analyst for Fox Sports later this year. That 10-year contract is worth a reported $375 million.

Netflix, meanwhile, has been venturing more into live programming over the past year.

After 2023’s “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” the streaming giant has tried its hand at sports (“The Netflix Slam,” a tennis event, and “The Netflix Cup,” for golf) as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

From 2003 to 2019, celebrity roasts were primarily the domain of Comedy Central.
