It was a “Cruel Summer” weekend for Taylor Swift at her Eras tour stop in Chicago.

The pop star, 33, reportedly swallowed a bug while performing at Soldier Field stadium on Sunday.

The singer started choking in the middle of her “Evermore” set, declaring, “I just swallowed a bug.”

“Oh, delicious,” Swift quipped. “Is there any chance that none of you saw that?”

She managed to croak out reassurance that “it’s fine,” and she did, in fact, swallow the bug. “This is gonna happen again tonight,” Swift laughed. “There’s so many bugs. There’s a thousand of them.”

“I’m sorry,” she said, attempting to shake it off. “I’ll be fine, it’s just so stupid.”

This was just one of a few mishaps that had Swifties in stitches during the Chicago tour stops.

Earlier that same night, the Grammy award-winning singer was transitioning to her song “Lover” when the mike stopped working.

A tech eventually brought her out a replacement as Swift laughed it off.

“All right, guys, let’s start this over again. None of that happened … Let’s take a second in our memories, rewind ’em back, none of that happened. We’re back to 36 seconds ago,” she said with a smile.

On Saturday night, Swift almost invited a young fan to join her onstage, before realizing the stage wasn’t equipped for guests. “My brain just broke,” she apologized.

During Swift’s performance of her song “22,” one lucky fan is escorted to the pit just below the stage’s catwalk, where she gives them the hat she’s wearing.

On this particular night, the singer was enamored with the young fan and gave her a slight encouragement with a nod to actually join her onstage — just before stopping herself and rejoining the dancers for the rest of the song.

“I just had this inclination,” Swift said before going into her next song. “She’s so cute that I wanted to, like, I was just like ‘I’m just gonna bring her on the stage, I’m just gonna hug her and put her on the stage.’ And then I remembered we don’t have a safe way to get her off the stage.”

“My brain went completely blank,” she continued. “I was just like, ‘You’re so sweet and cute, come up on the stage.’ She was confused. I was confused. So if anybody else was confused, that was because that child was so adorable that I tried to make her a part of the show. I had no control over it.”
