Sebastian Stan said he treated Tommy Lee’s ‘talking penis’ as an ‘intimate buddy’

Fans knew the upcoming Hulu miniseries about Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s tumultuous, sex-fueled marriage would be scandalous, but they probably didn’t know it would be this outrageous.

While the Lily James- and Sebastian Stan-fronted series “Pam & Tommy” won’t hit streaming screens until Feb. 2, the actors recently opened up about a particular scene in Episode 2 that will surely be NSFW.

The pair spoke to Variety in a lengthy story about the eight-episode series and what viewers should expect.

One sequence shows the Mötley Crüe drummer meeting Pamela and discussing with himself if he has actually fallen in love.

He then has a pep talk with his genitalia. Inspired by an anecdote in Lee’s 2005 memoir, “Tommyland,” the character has a conversation with his penis (voiced by actor Jason Mantzoukas).

Show creator Robert Siegel discussed the raunchy scene with Variety, saying, “As much as I’d like to take credit for that, I was simply adapting a chapter from [Lee’s] memoir.”

Siegel continued, “I think it might be a first [for television]. There was gentle pushback, because you’ve got to push back a little when a talking penis is presented to you. But Hulu was extremely supportive.”

Director Craig Gillespie chimed in and explained how hard it was a to shoot that scene, describing it as “just awkward.”

“You’ve got four puppeteers working with an animatronic penis,” he said. “And then, how much is too much, and do you start to lose his emotional torment of what’s going on? Hopefully it works.”

But the “Captain America” star was OK with the scene. Stan said, “By the end of it, I treated it like it was an intimate buddy conversation that one might have when they’re falling in love.”

Pam and TommyJames transformed into “Baywatch” icon Pamela Anderson for the Hulu miniseries.

“Pam & Tommy” will chronicle the crazy ride that was Anderson and Lee’s wild rockstar relationship in the 1990s. It will mainly focus on the couple’s sex tape that they created on their honeymoon and its subsequent unauthorized release.

Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese and Mozhan Marnò co-star in the drama.

The “Baywatch” icon and the rocker married in 1995 on a beach after knowing each other for only four days. They separated in 1998. Lee and Anderson have two sons together, Brandon and Dylan.
