Yolk’s on them!
Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson recently reminisced about getting arrested with Princess Diana at Ferguson’s “hen party” — British speak for a bachelorette bash — ahead of her 1986 nuptials to Prince Andrew.
“It was extraordinary, because we went to a nightclub, of course, you go to a nightclub with the Princess of Wales,” the Duchess of York, 63,recalled on Tuesday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
Ferguson said the pair decided to dress up as police officers for the festivities. But they quickly found themselves in the crosshairs for their get-ups.
“We sat down, and the waiter came up to us and said, ‘Excuse me, this is a members club. It’s for fun, and we don’t serve police officers here,'” Ferguson explained to Clarkson.

“We were then arrested … We go in the back of the van,” Ferguson continued, adding they hid their engagement rings once inside.
Diana saw “smoky bacon-flavored crisps” in the vehicle, Ferguson remembered, and she “started taking them and eating them.”
That is, until an officer in the front seat shouted at her: “You can’t do that!”

“She and I, we laughed a lot. We got into trouble a lot,” noted Ferguson, author of “A Most Intriguing Lady.” “You know what she used to do? She used to tell me the worst story, joke story, just before I had to be serious.”
In a 2021 People interview, Ferguson denied rumors of bad blood between herself and Diana, whom she affectionately called “Duch,” before the princess’s 1997 death.
“We promised each other we would always be together — there was never any daylight between us,” she said at the time. “But everybody wanted [to see a feud] because we were so strong together. People want to break something so strong.”
