Range Media Partners Expands With Ten Promotions And Four New Hires

EXCLUSIVE: Off the heels of the recent growth capital investment, Range Media Partners has announced a flurry of activity including ten promotions across the company and hiring of four seasoned industry veterans.

On the film & TV side, Andrew Nallathambi and Natalya Yonathan have both been promoted to Managers. Nallathambi began his career at Range as one of its first Associate Trainees before becoming a divisional coordinator. After a stint in UTA’s Motion Picture Lit department, Yonathan worked for Universal’s Donna Langley where she ran her office for nearly four years before joining Range as an Associate.

On the Digital side, Bianca Martín, Madeline McFerren, Gabe Pepe and Worthy Patterson have all been promoted to Managers. Martín joined Range as an Associate after a stint at Gersh in Global Branding & Endorsements. McFerren started with Range at its inception, spending time in the Business Development division before joining the Digital division as an Associate. Patterson joined Range as an Associate after spending time in Film & TV at UTA, TV development at Temple Hill, and most recently, Endorsements at UTA. Prior to joining Range as an Associate, Pepe worked in the talent department at CAA as well as in film production & development at Thunder Road Films and Warner Bros.

For the sports division, Steph Paul has been promoted to Coordinator. After starting her career as a management consultant at IBM, she joined Range as an Associate in Business Development before taking on a Chief of Staff role within Range Sports.

Range Studios has promoted Avery Powell and Ellie Horne to Coordinator roles and Noah Reich has been upped to Head of Development for the International Studio. Powell was one of Range’s first Associate Trainees before joining the Scripted TV Studio where he’s spent the last two years. Horne joined Range’s International Studio after spending seven years in the UK theatre scene and a stint as a Literary Associate at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Reich’s promotion to Head of Development of Range’s International Studio comes after an exemplary career, beginning as an intern at A24 before working across production & development at Fox Searchlight in London, Portobello Productions, and Altitude.

For the new hires, Tahira Aiana has joined Range as a Manager in FIlm & TV. Prior to Range, Aiana was an agent at Kaplan Stahler and WME where her clients included Halle Berry, Serena Williams, and Attica & Tembi Locke.

With over 25 years of experience, Jay Baker has joined Range’s Film Lit division bringing clients such as Neil Burger, Nimród Antal, Matt Sand, Nina Baker and award-winning playwright Gina Stevensen, among others. While an agent at CAA, Baker mastered the craft of championing original voices within an evolving media landscape working with filmmakers such as Barry Jenkins, Yorgos Lanthimos, Lee Isaac Chung, Wong Kar Wai, Christina Hodson, Davis Guggenheim, and many others.

Matt Baldovsky has joined as a Manager in TV Lit with clients including Howard Korder, TJ Brady & Rasheed Newson, Munis Rashid, Tawnya Bhattacharya & Ali Laventhol and more. Baldovsky most recently spent seven years as a TV Lit Agent at UTA, after starting his career in APA’s mailroom and as a coordinator at ICM Partners.

Joining Range as a Senior Business Affairs Executive, focused primarily on Range’s Film & Production division, Christina Tajalli most recently served as Head of Business Affairs at Picturestart where she was the company’s only lawyer for the majority of her tenure, managing over 100 projects and closing over 350 deals including the largest sale at Sundance 2021. Tajalli began her career as a civil rights litigator and human rights advocate before transitioning to entertainment, starting at a boutique transactional entertainment law firm and then spending time at Skydance working across its feature & television divisions.
